• It’s a fantasy game
• The game has monsters and is not real
• If a game has a fire bird and a fire dog, it can have a black character
• The creators are free to do whatever they want
• I’m not criticizing the game for not having diverse characters because I, and no one else, actually cares about this.

BTW I played in graphic mode (that should be default without need to choose it) and it was perfectly fine… I didn’t even find any major performance hit.

Graphics mode is 30fps solid.

Performance mode is 60fps with dips to 30fps.

Yuuuuuup. This is getting the Zelda pass for me. Low fps won't stand in the way of me playing one of the best games ever made

Eh the gameplay is awesome.

I also thought gameplay was pretty average/tedious, at least in the demo. Will still buy it for what I'm expecting with the total experience, but the fighting was pretty damn boring I thought.

But still!

There was a period when I was a very young lad that Final Fantasy 6 was my favorite game of all time. And I'm actually playing through it again with the pixel remaster and think it totally stands up. I think several FF games are complete classics. So I am looking forward to this. Just one more day since I can start playing it tomorrow night.
