Yeah i decided to wait aswell.
The demo seems to cover a bit of of the story in the beginning and i don't like having to play it and then wait a week.
Finished the demo. Wow.
This is it, the PS5 was made for this.
Migth actuality be the greatest demo of all time. Delivers on all fronts, looks great, plays great, has great story.

Still playing the demo but i must say the image quality is really blurry for me and certain textures look really low res. Facial animations/lip sync are also nothing to write home about. Not the looker I thought it was gonna be technical wise, but the art is gorgeous.
I really doubt that claim after finishing it. There must be something wrong with your TV then, looks great on performance mode.
You say you are excited for the games MS showed and now you say that this doesn't look good? Gtfo...

It's definitely an older version. They showed gameplay at one of the recent events where they were playing a newer build and the framerate in exploration mode looked a lot smoother than it does in the demo.Saw this posted on gaf, apparently the demo may be an older version.
Outside of cinematics it kinda gives off big budget Ff14 vibes.
The muted colors also makes me wonder if HDR is off or broken but that’s kinda what the game has been looking like.
Heavy film grain use too. Too much in fact.
I don’t like 15 or 7r much at all. Enjoyed my time with 14 more than either. I think this is absolutely hype worthy and the most excited I’ve been for the series since FF9.
Heavy game of thrones vibes whether that’s accurate or not. I’m loving everything they’re doing here with the vibe. Feels like the series has finally turned a corner.
Yep the story and gameplay are the parts that have me intrigued. The graphics are serviceable for that fact. I hope we will be able to adjust the depth of field and motion blur in the final product, it's really affecting the image quality for me.
I get the performance mode complaints now. I don’t know what the fuck is happening but the frame rate only feels smooth when in combat. Out of combat and just moving the camera is erratic. It’s like some botched res scaler I’d bet.
Man people do not understand software. It takes time to get stuff tested and deployed, especially in a production like this. I only noticed major drops in the Eikon battle.
Lots happening and lots of fire effects.
i can agree with motion blur, i always play without it and it feels very heavy here.
but can't agree on graphics, on 30fps game looks great. few things are dodgy, that's about it.
