FF XVI Demo is out

I only noticed major drops in the Eikon battle.

Lots happening and lots of fire effects.

Couldn't see shit let alone notice framerate. I die once due to the particles everywhere. Regardless love them particles

I'm loving it, I just wish Clive had more weight in exploration sequences instead of being able to turn on a dime without animations, combat is top notch though, just got done with the Morbol, I'll finish the demo later

I like that one of the moves is pretty much Noctis warp. I loved that from FFXV.

Game looks amazing. The 30fps mode is a marvel. They only have to tweak the motion blur that’s a bit too strong.

Some of my ff7 demo screenshots. Actually fucking incredible. I am amazed. Looks cgi at me at times. I will play the game 4k30. Feels good for 30fps. Not very slow like other 30fps games can be. Motion blur is of very high quality. Its the good motion blur. Like... And the music ?! cmon wow
The game is crazy good. The direction, cinematography, MUSIC, graphics... combat.
it is fantastic. Strange because it never looked THAT GOOD in the trailers.
I recommend 4k30 mode.
I had the game pre-oredered on physical because why not.... I only wanted to try the demo out for 5 minutes.... haha

Just finished the demo, overall amazing story so far! The frame rate during that last boss fight is downright atrocious though. The low res textures + the wonky TAA/motion blur take away from what could be a graphically amazing game.

Reflecting on how awsome this demo was Sony should pay SE to get a FFVII Rebirth demo ready for Christmas and announce it on TGA.

This demo brought me more joy than most full games, felt like a great chapter 1 of a new series.

It’s an old build, so I guess they’ve tweaked things from then.
