Buy them or lock in a ton of more share into them where PS can have a say. Square have IPs that are legacy IPs that have been tied to PlayStation for many years. Clearly, Sony still values Final Fantasy hence why they will continue to dump money into locking up a mainline one each time. PlayStation is Japanese yet has no Japanese in house studio (or not enough) aside from Team Asobi and Polyphony Digital. And beside, the Xbox fanbase had every opportunity to show that they want to buy these Square RPGs but each time Square hand them one they don't show up to back up their begging.
Head on the Block. They've had accurate info on Atlus stuff previously; last big round of Atlus info they leaked also included some Square-Enix stuff, some of which was redacted on request.
FWIW this could just be them spitballing their own personal opinion/perspective, but it's rather something they deliberately responded to a person mentioning Sony & Squre-Enix. They technically didn't have to respond at all if there was nothing potentially cooking.
