LMFAO!! Not going to lie, that would be fucking hilarious if it goes on PS+ before Game Pass. Wow.Rumoured clause in the Sony contract, has to be offered to their subscription service first!

Isn't that the Boogie guy??? Either way, I don't care or have any interest in Deathloop (or Ghostwire Tokyo) so neither affect me. But it would be funny if the rumor happens. We'll know for sure soon.Would be in the complete meltdown
I'm not sure what point you are making lol.. the whole point is if Xbox'ers don't buy games, and nobody is really paying for Gamepass, then Xbox certainly wouldn't have seen that growth as the theory I see is people stopped spending money because of Gamepass.Gaming as a whole -- mainly third-party live-service games and MTX -- has grown in the past few years. That, coupled with aggressive acquisitions of 15+ studios, doesn't make that relatively nominal growth in revenue as interesting or incredible.
Oh my god…Rumoured clause in the Sony contract, has to be offered to their subscription service first!
Halo Infinite charted 2nd behind COD.I dont think any xbox game has charted on the NPD. That right there shows you that they aren’t really spending money on games.

But.. come on now.. the game was on Gamepass... any game day 1 on Gamepass is going to sell less, obviously.
But Xbox gamers are clearly.. buying games.. those not on Gamepass (the other half of their userbase), and those on Gamepass buy 3rd party games.

For one specific month out of the year with no other major game releases lol
Easy to chart when theres no other game releases, the next month it was non-existent, it could have sold 1000 copies, which is very likelyYour welcome for correcting you.
Yes I'm sure Pokemon sold less than 1000 copies in December. The US basically does no shopping that month, ever.Easy to chart when theres no other game releases, the next month it was non-existent, it could have sold 1000 copies, which is very likely

Don't acknowledge you were wrong.. move goal post... claim the #2 game in the US during the #1 month of the year for gaming "could have sold 1,000 copies"
You have 2 options bro..
You are a troll..
Or, well.. not supposed to suggest the other option because my Mommy said to not say anything at all if I didn't have anything nice to say.
Obviously, Microsoft's first party games will sell less due to Game Pass because unless you're a collector, why would anyone buy their games day one or even on a sale? The last Microsoft first party game I bought was State of Decay 2 ultimate edition day one for $50 in 2018. Have played Gears 5, Gears Tactics, Gears Hivebusters and Halo Infinite (campaign) all via Game Pass. If/when Sony puts their first party games on PlayStation Plus day one, I will no longer buy their games either. I'm currently waiting for Ubisoft to put Ubisoft+ which includes all of their day one releases and DLC/expansions on Xbox as a separate subscription service because why would I or anyone pay $60+ to play a game when you can pay $10-$15 for a monthly rental, accomplish the same exact goal which is to complete the game and move on to your next game for a far cheaper price?
From launch to date, I have bought spent $600 on digital purchases and $300 on physical disc purchases with another $250 incoming between September and December for Xbox Series X. But if any of the games im buying go on Game Pass day one, they're then highly unlikely to be purchased. For Microsoft, sales isn't what they care about the most. Game Pass is. Getting consumers into their eco-system via console, PC or Cloud is what they care about.
I do believe that Starfield will get 10m+ in sales because majority will buy on PC via Steam and those who are collector's or just massive Bethesda Game Studio fans will buy the game digitally or physically on Xbox. Other than Starfield, I don't see many of Microsoft's first party games selling all that well but at the same time, that's not their direction or focus.
All the stats prove Xbox gamers are still buying 3rd party games at a same or better rate than Playstation gamers. That's despite the chance these games "might" come to Gamepass later... but... honestly? Most.. don't.
