So do you think Xbox'ers don't buy games, and are all paying $1 for Gamepass?
They do buy games, of course, and not everyone pays $1 for Gamepass (though most of them likely are).

You were talking about the growth in revenue, right? I'm saying that the growth isn't because of these two factors. It's not like Xbox gamers have suddenly doubled the number of games they were purchasing before, or Gamepass has abandoned its $1 offers and loopholes and, despite that, has grown by 2-3x.

That hasn't happened. Their first-party games haven't been charting either.

So how did the revenue increase?

As I said, increase spending on third-party games and MTX and acquisitions.

No, growth wasn't really my point.

My point was to combat a narrative that XBox'ers don't buy games. Which you can find repeated here on the forum and everywhere else.

Zenimax didn't even close until mid 2021, this narrative, and Xbox's growing revenue happened well before that.

Which would never had happened if the narrative were true..

What you are saying doesn't even make sense as a response to what I said... because you basically said Xbox'ers buy games LOL Like you didn't argue at all against what I said..

I still think you guys are way off thinking most people know about and use the $1 deal. There are 25 million subscribers.. and the deal isn't really well described anywhere on MS's site, if people even went there..

Most people probably pay month to month.. that's just how the general public do things. They click the button on their console UI and they buy the thing.
