Nothing is going to change, nor with the "deserved backlash" or whatever it's that you call a few twitter users getting on Warren's balls. I type as if I were talking, expand and polish as thoughts come in. Standard for all of my posts. If you're the last post in a thread, it doesn't get the edited tag until someone else makes a post, or after a set amount of time.

I saw a few gameplay snippets and I agree with you, they got Wolverine right. Fox's Wolverine is like a super tall dude that's a little slower and fights like a tank. Meanwhile comic wolverine is super short, agile, and much more targeted. Everything seemed perfect.

Yes, we can disagree respectfully. My main qualm is that you're acting like Tom is "just a fanboy", yes he's a massive fanboy but whether we like it or not, he's a professional journalist with a large platform and should be held to that standard. Even Tom himself understands there are lines you don't cross. He's not Colt or Timdog, he knows it's unprofessional and scummy and did it anyway.

He "encouraged" people not to share leaks and then did exactly that, while also mocking the situation. You can say that's to be expected but I disagree, even with his constant negative spin on PS news, he usually keeps it professional. But we can agree to disagree and move on.

Covid ended in 2021. I'd give it to HFW IF the other games (except ragnarok) were not buggy. They are. This is not a coincidence and started with PC ports.

I think I've said enough on this topic. We do disagree on how we approach to viewing this. Tweet was a factual read. Now the counter is that even if the tweet is a factual read, some readers may misconstrue the meaning of it to something else, and since Warren has a rap sheet that "something else" is exactly what he meant. Even in that area of operation, it's an opinionated projection, and Tom, as a "professional courtesy" and "due to standards of the profession", deleted it. Case closed. To talk about standards in journalism today... in a post-truth society.... ehhhh. This is nothing.

I think as a general rule for forumners here, it would be wise and this is just a suggestion, to stop going to Tom Warren and folks of the like to see what is on their mind, much less when Sony shits the bed. Many Sony fans in denial spent years saying the ports were handled entirely by different teams and would not take any resource away from the PS version . To me it was always a given that they would be developed alongside each other once the choice was made that all Sony games will also release on PC.

Ports of PS4 games that were made at a time when Sony did not release their games on PC are very different from what happened with games that started development already knowing they would release on PC.

The point of not releasing alongside the PS5 is to preserve what little is left of the sense that PlayStation is a priority to them. Unless there is a big change of direction release windows will keep getting shorter until PC starts getting the games at the same time as PS, just like what happened to Xbox.

I have no clue, I'm seeing conflicting reports, some people are saying its 6-8 hours of gameplay, others are saying its just a few demo missions. It's still pretty fresh so we'll find out later. Either way it's a terrible situation that could've been avoided
