They do bad because they are not an entertainment company and they dont know how to be one.
If you look at how different the tech and entertainment business is you can see why they struggle. Sony is a LEGITIMATE entertainment company across films, music and for the past 30 years video games. Nintendo is a video game entertainment company for over 40 years.
Microsoft is a software tech company that dabbles into video game entertainment for 25 years now, but it seems they just dont take it seriously.
This is why i say that a lot of these companies today follow Sony’s play book, apple, netflix, amazon, google and MS. Before all these companies Sony was the only one out here making tech, films, movies, video games and music since the 90’s. All these other companies want to be like Sony.
