Rebirth has a performance mode, so this loser is wrong
I agree with you in the first point but...30fps is not bad, and Rebirth has a 60fps option.
That is his point... 60fps mode in Rebirth is just that bad.Rebirth has a performance mode, so this loser is wrong
If you are talking about Nanite and Lumen they were not created to 60fps target at all.Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are not strong enough consoles to run demanding games made in UE5 at 60fps
Since Hellblade 2 was made in UE5, it was to be expected that the game would run on Xbox at 30fps.If you are talking about Nanite and Lumen they were not created to 60fps target at all.
It can reach there in the future but it was targeted to 30fps.
It can but not on high resolution.Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 are not strong enough consoles to run demanding games made in UE5 at 60fps
I will always prefer to play a game on PC than on consoles because PC gives the best gaming experience. It can but not on high resolution.
- Cinematic scalability level targets Movie Render Queue.
- Epic scalability level targets a 30 fps console budget.
- High scalability level targets a 60 fps console budget.
- Low and Medium scalability levels disable Lumen features.
Software Ray Tracing
Software Ray Tracing is the fastest tracing method in Lumen and we recommend it for 60 fps games.
Hardware Ray Tracing
Hardware Ray Tracing provides Lumen with improved quality. We recommend it for games targeting 30 fps on console.
It can if you disabled the UE5 new features...It can but not on high resolution.
That's why I hope that soon Microsoft and Sony will announce stronger versions of their consoles that will be able to run demanding games made in UE5 at 60 fps.If you are talking about Nanite and Lumen they were not created to 60fps target at all.
It can reach there in the future but it was targeted to 30fps.
Edit - In UE5 documentation they talk about that and says they will try to reach 60fps in the future.
It already can. That's why I hope that soon Microsoft and Sony will announce stronger versions of their consoles that will be able to run demanding games made in UE5 at 60 fps.
Only if you look at screenshots only, or if your eyes are bad. Games look a LOT cleaner at 60fps due to motion clarityLooks way better in 30fps
And that is one of the game that has less difference between Fidelity and Performance… only resolution bump.
Others games like Spider-Man the difference is drastic.
So I doubt about it looking perfect… it did have compromises.
The excuse… you eyes are bad lolOnly if you look at screenshots only, or if your eyes are bad. Games look a LOT cleaner at 60fps due to motion clarity
Sure, lol. Next you'll tell me that the human eye can't perceive more than 720pThe excuse… you eyes are bad lol
I have a theory that so motion clarity is something related to how some people get motion sickness and others not.
I never had any motion sickness in my life.
So that motion clarity means nothing to me but the graphical (IQ) difference is pretty obvious.
I play 30fps or 60fps games just fine… it just that 30fps looks way better and in most cases not blurry like 60fps modes.
But hey there are bad 30fps modes too.
Maybe on bigger screens. On a 50” 4K screen the performance mode looked fine to me.I agree with you in the first point but...
Well Rebirth 60fps mode is really one of the worst 60fps mode a game can have... even after they tried to fix it with patches it continue being bad... it is not just little bad but utter bad.
That is his point... 60fps mode in Rebirth is just that bad.
It is a bad example of how a 60fps mode needs to be done.
Rebirth is only playable in 30fps mode imo (the mode most choose to play it after try 60fps mode... and yes there are gamers that choose to wait the PC version to play in 60fps even after buy the game on PS5).
But you are making up excuses not meSure, lol. Next you'll tell me that the human eye can't perceive more than 720p
