Cross play is great to see, especially on a first party Playstation game. I'll definitely buy this on PC.
Great to see a game that could run on the PS4 based on specs skip the PS4 and release on PC.
A 4790 gangbangs the jaguar CPU on the PS4 and thats just for 30 FPS. It would be a terrible experience on the old console.
Sony continuing to show PC ports on the main PlayStation channel has to most pointless marketing and showing cluelessness of brand identity.
Based on all other corssgen games that is not the case. Game with higher minimun requirements than this have release on PS4.

System requirements and features of the cross-platform shooter Helldivers 2 for PC and PS5
Developers at Arrowhead Game Studio, together with publisher Sony Interactive Entertainment, presented a trailer for their cooperative shooter Helldivers 2. The latest video revealed the most important features of the PC version of the project.

The PC version of Helldivers 2 will be able to do this brag the presence of crossplay between PC and PlayStation 5, as well as improved graphics with a resolution of up to 4K. Arrowhead Game staff have also released the shooter’s system requirements.

Helldivers 2 is scheduled to release on PC on February 8th (steam) and PlayStation 5. The shooter invites the player to become a Hell Marine and fight for freedom in hostile space, while conquering enemy planets, repelling invasions and completing important missions.
