But GAAS games have MTX since.... Stone age. And there are very good ones. Look at the World Of Tanks. Bunch of MTX, but surely not trash game

I have ZERO interest in playing any of these games that are shaped by MTX, the games I actually liked that didn't use to have this stuff were ruined by it (WoW, TF2, CS, Dota2, Battlefield).

It is not to me. WOT is absolutely awesome GAAS game. Literally no question about it.

Maybe you don't think racing games are trash but I do think games ridden with MTX are TRASH.
You are wrong to assume my problem with MTX is that it requires me to spend money, my problem is how the fact that a game revolves around MTX completely change it's design, Dota2 was completely ruined by cosmetics and the constants changes designed to get more money out of the game and keep it going forever.

With the news we are getting now Hermen's plan is clear: he wants to turn PlayStation into Xbox and it's happening fast.
We have a guy that always dreamed of creating a Bungie game allowing Bungie to call the shots for PlayStation (some of the least trustworthy people in the industry) while they make games for Xbox.

Yep looks like it. Seems like the guys that envisioned PlayStation as a GaaS/PC/Service/e-Sports centered brand won over the guys that believed that they should double down on what they were good at.
They deserve whatever is coming their way. Gabe is ready to eat their launch and will be able to navigate this new environment better than any of the console manufactures.
So Sony literally wasted 3.6 billion to keep Bungie games multiplat. Meanwhile Zenimax/Bethesda is going to be Xbox exclusive.

This game was in development before the aqusition tho. And Sony wants the games multiplatform i don't see how this is a waste if they'll be getting money from every platform. Bethesda games being exclusive will hurt them more than it will Playstation.
