There you go, showing again how clueless you are. Yes, PlayStation being a newcomer in the console business had to rely a lot on 3rd party, yet saying first-party was non-existent when PS1 had games like:
- Twisted Metal
- Gran Turismo
- Warhawk
- MediEvil
- Everybody's Golf
- Cool Boarders
- ParappaTheRapper
- Arc The Lad
- Legend of Dragoon
- Wild Arms
- Ape Escape
And more. Plus IPs they later acquired like Wipeout.
The PS2 had sequels to some of those games and added additional 1st-party titles like:
- God of War
- Dark Cloud (+ "sequels")
- Mark of Kri
- Okage: Shadow King
- Ico
- Shadow of the Colossus
- Jak and Daxter
- Ratchet and Clank
- Sly
- They even had their own football game, This is Football
- Siren
- The Getaway
- Games like SingStar, EyeToy games, Buzz
So you are either too young or too clueless or too full of bullshit. Maybe a mix of all three.
The PS3 gen was the one where they noticed how important the 1st-party exclusives were and how they couldn't rely on 3rd party.
And with corporate shill responses like that, you prove how you care more for their finances than for the reason gaming forums like this exist: the games. You are basically saying that it's ok if PlayStation as a console becomes the least important product, as long as the likes of Hulst can fill their pockets.
