Hot Take: I believe the 8/10 from IGN & Gamespot were justified based on what's being discussed about Spider-Man 2 🤷

This awfully misguided side mission is enough to justify 8/10.

Insomniac Games definitely slacked off with this one in terms of polishing & refinement of the experience and instead pandered, based on the countless of reviews & comments.

It's a shame because I respected Insomniac with Rachet & Clank's PS5 mega-showcase, which showed their dev skills.

This one though...they must've hired seatwarmers as devs

There's also one scene where miles morales has a Cuban flag in his house when it should have been Puerto Rican. How do you forget the main character nationality specially when its a character trait for the most part.

This is why I keep my gripes strictly related to gameplay. I can’t account for the total lack of social understanding coming from the mostly liberal folks in the industry. It’s unavoidable at this point unless you intend to only play Japanese creations.

I dislike woke shit but can forgive it as long as the game plays well. There's enough of it (a black character said "bipoc" unironicly?) that they deserve a snout slap in some form though. Game is fun but writers are highly "progressive" and the game takes place in modern NYC so there's that.

Honestly I wished I can skipped the escorting side quests and fetch quests like puzzles.

Still half ways there, only one section annoys me. But overall pretty positive

There’s nothing even wrong with being progressive it's more so the modern version is meaningless and incorrect. Most black children are apolitical so who is this even for? Why pander to the 5000 individuals in the tristate area who will relate to this when millions are buying your game? It begs the question.

Wait until the next gta, i remember an interview where it is going to be the most progressive gta ever.

Generally we love all our carribean ppl (greater and lesser antilles) and we have alot in common from food, to music, to culture. The PR flag is actually based off the Cuban one hence same logo and was suppose to signify a common goal of independence so most of us definitely wouldn't be offended. Only time we would get offended is if someone gets confused and puts a Cuban flag wrongly thinking it's a PR flag because it's same logo.
