Not only this, but there is no mouse, keyboard, PS5 controller, or Windows, and the system will probably be less optimised than the PS5 Pro without any of the closed systems enhancements.

That's why the argument of getting a PC is disingenuous. How is someone going to say something is too expensive... so you recommend something even more expensive than the thing they were complaining about????
For that amount of power, PS5 PRO will offer it at the lowest price, period.

And PS5 pro is equivalent to a 4070 or so, a much more expensive card than the one they have there.
Don't worry. You'll quickly make up the difference paying Sony $20/month for access to multiplayer and a catalog of old games, and $70+ for new releases.

Many things can be easily done by Mobile Devices anyway. And for Gaming, a Console is much more comfortable.

You can't even customize your Windows if you don't buy a license, and I doubt anyone would want to use Linux for gaming
In short: buy a more expensive PC with inferior technologies and that in the end will still deliver a lower performance than the PS5 Pro. Honestly, if you want something superior (or not) to the PS5 Pro, then get an RTX 4070 up
Not true. You can easily customize Windows. And lots of people (myself included) currently use or have used Linux for gaming.
average Joe doesn't use Linux, even gamers aren't using it. stop with the cap and tiniest minority.
