I have no idea. That seems so messy, do you know why Ubisoft ended up with this responsibility? that seems like the kind of mess a lawyer would make tons and tons of money with!
I can understand why Xbots hates Jason to heart
When people realize online play is only paid on consoles due Microsoft they will realize what is Microsoft to console market.I am sympathetic to those people. They were in a bad situation with ABK leadership being terrible and were hoping for improvement with a new company and leadership. I get that.
However, as someone who has watched the antics of Phil for a while now and MS for even longer, I didn't believe the promises of a unionized and valued workforce for even one second. This is the company that had already laid off Zenimax employees, prefers contract workers for game development over permanent employees, and has been responsible for some of the most anti-consumer and anti-competitive moves in corporate history. This corporation does not value people, its customers or its employees, just like most others. It came across as unbelievably naive to see so many believing otherwise per-acquisition.
Which thread is that from?

PC online gaming was never this good until MS started charging for online on the og xbox!I've actually seen people unironically defend that. It was paid so it was "better" and it's thanks to MS that we have better online gaming to this day.
I found out pretty quickly that podcast wasn't for me. A lot of really silly takes on there imo.Watched Sacred Symbols today, it was very disappointing to me... The takes were mostly so easy on Microsoft and the acquisition.
Colin blames it mostly on the economy and the lockdown boom and overinvestment in gaming.
Not to put them in competition but Reforge gaming went much deeper and discussed the various aspects and levels.
He pointed out the acquisition didn't save anyone or anything, it probably made things worse. Arguments that were used to justify the acquisition, like more games is already proven false with less developers and a game already cancelled.
The Microsoft policy of using more contractors than full time employees and how that has resulted in lower quality games.
COD is one of those things where people will keep buying it in droves no matter how bad it gets unfortunately.Oh my god they're really going to actually do it, they're going to ruin call of duty
End of an era folks, pour one out.
Partner of Hardware at Xbox. Developer of the Series X and S, and Elite Controlled 1 & 2 has left Xbox. On his own terms.

Apparently this person is a COD leaker:
I'll have to look them up, but he has some weird takes on what he thinks Sony should or shouldn't do. He does a lot of dooming as well. He also doesn't do a very good job of pushing back when he's in a show with Xbox diehards spouting nonsense.Any examples? I'm curious what others think.
I was banned from their discord after Xbox fans came into their playstation area and trolled everyone.... I had the audacity to call them out and argue with them and caught a ban.
It's weird that Colin is surrounded by mostly Xbox fans.
Oh i noticed that, the ironlords... Painful bunch.I'll have to look them up, but he has some weird takes on what he thinks Sony should or shouldn't do. He does a lot of dooming as well. He also doesn't do a very good job of pushing back when he's in a show with Xbox diehards spouting nonsense.
