A game with boring story and platforming that is actually just prompts. BUT A CAT !!!
Stray had a pretty compelling, emotional narrative about the state of humanity, how we treat each other, and how we treat our own world, all communicated in a lovely and unique way.
I'm sorry you didn't like it, but it's not even close to the worst game that would have gotten a GOTY nod tbh.
no no. Don't get me wrong. I liked it well enough. Narrative and world/atmosphere were great.

The scale people rate games on fascinates me. lol
Even I had some interest in Starfield despite my hate for Bethesda given the original fake trailer and all the hype and promises. When they actually showed the game it felt like the Halo Infinite reveal all over again, uninteresting, unimpressive and running like shit.
Poor Starfield.
It's more than sum of it's parts. It left me with a good feeling and I enjoyed the world and music.
The platforming was just awful and the middle part got pretty boring.
You know, just like Days Gone. Not a single part alone of this game is good. Terrible characters, loot, too bloated, bad pacing, bad shooting so on so on. But it comes up to a pretty good game despite being a sum of all bad parts...
