PS5 did pretty good.

But the declive in FFXVI sales is pretty telling... the previous entry really put buyers in the waiting.
A bit over 50% drop in physical but with difitial we should be looking at 20-30% drop.

Anyway FFXVI sales were still higher than what InstallBase users were predicting
They are really very biased.

It’s not great.

It’s the biggest next gen release for Japan so far tho. Kinda telling where that console market is at right now. This is the first game to move ps5 units it looks like.

Around what I expected for physical software. Higher than I expected for Hardware but next week everyone will run wild with the harsh drops.

I still don't understand how Sony can see the Switch selling in beast mode and not consider a proper portable that plays PS4 games (specially knowing that the Switch successor will have PS4 level hardware).

Elden Ring was cross-gen and a critical darling and it couldn't even hit 280k and we're supposed to believe FF16 is a flop?

AAA gaming on consoles is low in Japan. That's the max in that market.
