Jason Schreier: "Xbox is such a mess right now, I feel like their plan is changing every single year. They're talking about teasing handheld now."

yep. /r/gaming is heavily astroturfed by moderation, they let console war memes shitting on sony fly ALL the time even when it has fake news on it (such as when people were shitting on the ps portal and comparing it to the switch)

I'm the first one to criticize Microsoft, but yeah, these comments are clownish and unproductive.

Misread, he's going after Tom Warren's comments, also clownish.

majority of zoomers and gen alpha play their games mostly on a mobile device such as a tablet or PC we can’t blame companies like Sony and Microsoft for keeping up with the times
Nope.

PC gaming is grasping for relevance in a console and mobile dominated future.

The mods were right. Podcast clips aren't threadworthy unless they actually break news and the reply to a Twitter reply wasn't worthy of a seperate thread.

They've allowed many negative posts about Playstation originating from Podcasts and it's an actual analyst explaining why Tom Warren's tweet is bullshit.

Why is a Microsoft shill pushing their own bullshit narrative allowed to remain and become top post on the sub?

Then they should also remove the Tom Warren tweet which breaks sub rules as it isn't directly related to gaming per their rules.

"7.3 No content focusing on non-gaming related details of Games Industry Figures - Games Industry Figures are those individuals or companies who primarily work in either the creation of games and/or their critical analysis. Content regarding such figures is only allowed when it is directly related to a game or to major life events (e.g. company move, death (or terminal health issue), retirement, acquirement, business closure, sponsorships, "Gabe is the new CEO of Activision" or "Microsoft buys the PlayStation brand for $10 and a pack of Oreos"). Direct accusations, litigation or other serious matters must have a demonstrable impact on the related game or company. Posts that focus on non-gaming related details (e.g. "CliffyB thinks Donnie Darko defines him as a person, insists that it's not a phase, mom" or "Does anyone else think that Valve should stop providing free junk food for their employees?") are not allowed."

The Tom Warren quote isn't a Tom Warren thread, its a "is PS5 Pro hard to find?" thread.

"directly related to a game or to major life events"

PS5 pro being in-stock is not a major life event

Estimating the PC gaming market to expand at 15% CAGR sustained over a decade is sheer delusion, as the PC gaming market has not grown above 10% a single year since covid
