The problems with PC ports started in 2022, when five games were released at once. 1-2 two releases a year would be enough with good marketing.
It's the reason lots of AAA games went exclusively to console in the first place.PC gamers had the chance to push Sony to make day and date PC ports inevitable
Instead they pirated 10 to 1 and made it so you'll get a PC port when Sony needs to stump up a bit of extra cash 3-5 years after release

Yeah, Sony should plan the cadence of their releases better. You had god of war in January, then nothing for a while and in august all of a sudden you had spiderman, uncharted, sack boy and miles morales. All for 60/70 USD a piece one game per month and in the busiest time of the year new game wise.
1 SP game per quarter should be enough. Or schedule those releases when there aren't big multiplats announced.
You sound like one of those Steam cult members, It really baffles me that Valve has trained y'all into thinking downloading another more launcher for 30 seconds is too much work. Spoken like somebody who cherishes their 2K SHiFT account. This is a problem on console too, friends. If sony wants to make meaningful moves in PC, they'll need to stop giving Valve a 30% percent cut and make their own launcher, and create a PS Plus tier for PC players.
It's only the steam cult members that threaten to pirate games on PC because they didn't release on their "favorite launcher".
