The common narrative between so called leakers and ppl in the know is that due to Xbox downward spiral the new Xbox will be coming out before 2028 and maybe even 2025 what are your thoughts?

Imagine getting conned into buying a Series console just for MS to release another failed console before anything got going for them with the Series. Even hardcore Xbox fans wouldn't be so stupid to fall for it again.
What games would they use to sell this new console? Hasn't MS learned anything?
This new console would have the longest crossgen window ever and Sony would be able to completely nuke it by simply being aggressive with PS5/PS% Pro pricing and hyping the PS6.

Having a more powerful Xbox when they're still tied to the turd that is the series S is pointless , as for 'next gen' coming early good luck with that since series X/S hasn't had a single game that could be considered this gen 
That’s what I keep thinking. Skip the ‘Pro’ cycle and release a new Xbox 1-2 years ahead of the PS6. Grab the hardcore early adopters and always have the cheapest console (not like the SS) in the market. Xbox would need to concede the power advantage to PS, but sales matter more.

I feel like if something like this was really happening they would be handing out dev kits to toms of devs by now and you would be hearing rumors from multiple people.
The all-digital series x refresh? Meh, that's not a new console.
This is hilarious. Half game announce in 2020 showcase (State of Decay 3, Everwild, Avowed, Hellblade 2, Fable) still dont have release date yet some of them already talking about next-gen.
That's not a new console like the ps5 slim isn't a new console. It has the same specs. We're talking new gen or at least pro-level as "new console"
