Why isn’t the Nintendo logo on there?
Sorry. Switch’s game has trophies?

Trophies icons should only exists for platforms that has trophies support.

But if there is any type of CoOp or online multiplayer between PS5 and Switch (or any other platform) it should show the icon of the platform on the player name.
Players need to know where the others players are playing (and in my case to avoid them).

Eurogamer said it's too simple and childish for adults. Well, it is a Lego game and these games are targetted at the kid demographic. 🤷‍♂️

The issue is that they're milking a mediocre franchise.

A mediocre Lego game for a mediocre franchise.

At least it's fitting
What about all the rest that is underperforming with no interest and no hype? Their games are not selling as before.

Not even the shittiest indie publisher is struggling that bad with some of these numbers. There's a general apathy with every release.

Horizon is actually a very good game and HFW too. Let's not turn on it because their PC pivot destroyed any goodwill and now it's trendy to shit on it.

Steam is no top seller or CCU are no metric at all.
Even more for a game aimed to sell best on Switch and PS5.
And yet we were told the mighty LEGO force powerless Sony to put on PC so they could get more sales. It's looking like a disaster that won't break even.

Growing the franchise was always bullshit.

Which ones are underperforming compared to last gen? Because there hasn't been much to compare in the last 2 years.

Horizon 2 sold 8,5 million in its first year (The first sold 7,6 in the same timeframe)

Spiderman 2 sold 11 million after 6 months (Just like the first game did in the same timeframe on a larger installbase)

Ragnarok sold 15 million in its first year

GT7 already surpassed GT Sports total sales and is still going.

Helldivers 2 did really great and Astrobot seems to be doing well for a non-Nintendo platformer.

The rest? A bunch of remasters and GaaS games no one asked for and they deservedly failed.

Nothing to do with PC.

I've beaten both games. The franchise is ok but nowhere near the hype it's getting, IMO. I even sold the first game 2 weeks after its initial launch because i was bored by it. Picked it up again a year later cause i had nothing else to play.

We live in a world where it’s claimed that Sony Hardware and Software is selling poorly compared to before.

Yet their revenue is at an all time high with decent profit.

Madness.

The games that are doing poorly are the ones no one asked for. (Concord and the dozens of remasters)

The games that we can directly compare to their last gen predecessors are selling just as well or even better/faster than before.

I wasn't comparing with last gen because it's impossible. I meant Rise of the Ronin, Concord, Until Dawn, Horizon Remastered, GOW PC flopped, HFW PC flopped, TLOU PC flopped and Lego Horizon.

Even Astrobot should be selling more with that Metascore.

Do we have any more sales data?

Feels like a big flop to me...
The game launches today 🤷🏻‍♂️
I mean today November 14… it not launched in most places yet.
On Steam for example it says to me launches in 10 hours… it is still in preorder and #124 in the ranking.

That twitter was yesterday when the game didn’t even had launched and while the preorders where imo good it crossed 200… so I have no ideia where he got his data.

Low 70's is pretty much what I was expecting. Too short of a game and should have been $40 instead of $60. Even more so, probably should have been an Astro Lego game instead but oh well. Game will sell best on Switch with PS5/PC battling it out for second place. It's weird that it's not available on PS4 which is baffling since the first two main Horizon games are.

Pretty sure TT Games is owned by Warner Bros. so I don't see why they would allow their own studio to develop a game in which they don't own either IP to and waste years on a game that wouldn't benefit them at all.

PS5 Pro wise, it's a Lego game. What's the Pro going to do? Enhance the blocks? LOL
