Consideration doesn't means it will happen ofcourse Sony considers a lot of things but only few are bought upon reality

. It doesn’t always happen because of regulators or a company can just decline and laugh in MS’s face like Nintendo did. But I think this is proof, that MS would buy every single developer and publisher in the industry if they could.

it wasn't consideration, it was targets. they actually proceeded to do it. how many they bought already? how many they tried but were declined and what they are trying now?

For all we care, Sony could only have a problem with Phil Spencer's slippers. What Sony wants is inconsequential. This is a regulatory issue, and regulators must decide if the company is actively engaging in anti-competitive practices or not so that they can approve a deal or not. That's it.
