People wont get excited unless they show promising gameplay. They literally developed the worst reviewed AAA game this gen.
I'm watching the show on a PS podcast channel and someone in the chat said by the time this Blade game releases Xbox won't exist.
That's Arkane Austin....Arkane Lyon developed one of the best AAA games this gen (Deathloop).

No way MS would of signed up on this if it wasn’t an exclusive. Remember what they did with Indiana Jones? It was supposed to be a multiplat then at the 11th hour, MS made it exclusive.

Microsoft will renege on the day 1 Gamepass commitment.
The question will be, how will they transition to 3rd person gameplay. I think this will be Arkane’s first if I’m not mistaken. Arkane is one of the best at level design, so I’m sure they will figure it out.
I will say Marvel Games' track record of licensing out their IP hasn't been smooth sailing. They obviously struck gold with PlayStation but they also handed Square Avengers and we all know how that went. They partnered with Firaxis for Midnight Suns and lots of folks were expecting XCom but with Marvel characters instead we got a card based game that ended up being a sale flop. Finger crossed Arkane Lyon hits.

Maybe MS is still dealing with Marvel over the subject because they didn’t reach a consensus.
BTW game is like 3 years away from release… they just started to work on it.
