Sounds like huge problems over at Xbox if they can't even announce their own development studios' projects for their own platform. Embarrassing. It's either definitely multiplat and Xbox is trying to stem the damage or they're busy trying to break contracts in the background.

Disney is in financial trouble and they must be demanding a big fat cheque. On the other hand, MS is trying to stop spending so much dough on Xbox. I would guess they're still trying to change the contract, therefore the trailer didn't mention platforms yet.

I honestly can’t believe ya’ll are doing this again. Lol After the B.S that we saw in the documents in court about all of the acquisitions that MS wanted to do. After what they did with Indiana Jones, changing the contract and making it exclusive at the 11th hour. After it was already leaked that ES6 will be exclusiv. Ya’ll really think they’re going to let this come to PS? Lol MS did not spend almost 100B to make big SP games multi plat… for now. I don’t give a shit what Phil said. But for the time being, until MS exits the hardware business, these games will be Xbox/PC exclusive.

Doubt it. If MS didn’t require it for Spiderman and Wolverine, who are much more famous characters than Blade, then MS won‘t care if this is exclusive.

The difference is that this game releasing on Xbox only (as far as consoles go) means it will flop hard. Xbox evangelists have been conditioned, kind of like pavlovs dog, to expect all games on gamepass. This not being announced for a specific platform all but confirms it will be multiplatform, imo.

Where did this come from? They had 1 negative quarter, but have a net profit of over 2B over the past 4 quarters. They are bleeding money in some segments, but they are still profitable as a company. There's no financial problem other than them burning some money thy probably shouldn't have.

The bad things about this announcement are that it is made by Arkane and will probably be disappointing and that it might also be exclusive to Xbox / PC although that matters less if the game is crap...


The really great part is that I never want to hear from Xbox fanboys how Spider-man is exclusive to PlayStation and that is somehow "unfair"...now they have their Marvel exclusive, so they can be quiet.

I'm very very happy PlayStation have Wolverine, he is my favorite comic book character. So everything is good as far as I'm concerned.

The to point that is not MS sole decision to make the game exclusive… it is not their IP after all.

They are probably in talk to make it exclusive… they probable tried everything to make it before the announce but seems like Marvel didn’t accepted it yet.

While I believe it will be console exclusive to Xbox… the fact they didn’t put it as console exclusive at the reveal means they are not in aterramento with Marvel yet.

And if Marvel didn’t accept MS offers (it is hard to happen) the game won’t be console exclusive… neither Gamepass say one.

Remember they had to agree to two points… console exclusive and day one Gamepass.

Probably involves a lot of money.

For now, I'm betting this game will be multiplat.
No platforms annouced, no Xbox logo.
I went back to all Bethesda's announcements after the acquisitions all of them have the Xbox logo.
If this doesn't, then it's not exclusive.
Doesn't matter what the xbots think.
If the exclusivity is announced later then fine.
But I'm guessing Marvel knows this game would fail on xbox and wouldn't accept an exclusive clause.
