I think you underestimate the power of grassroots movements. Most of the Xbox online fandom behave like a hive mind, or a cult if you want. There are indeed paid shills, but the overwhelming majority of their fanbase is real and very vocal, and they follow their guru's teachings.
As for AI bots, I'm pretty sure there's a few, especially on reddit, but again, these are only added on top of the big boys (Timdog, etc) to create the illusion of an even bigger movement.

I can’t help but be envious at Spider-Man 2 being a 90+ OpenCritic game. There are also many excellent games on Xbox, but I think Xbox fans are missing the prestige of those 90+ cinematic games. At the same time, it makes me frustrated that something like Forza Horizon can consistently get 90+ and not get much respect from the Keileghs awards. I’m certain that Flight Simulator will get 90 OpenCritic next year but it likely won’t get the same level of respect or prestige as Fable would if it got 90.
We’ll see. I’m still an incredibly happy Xbox fan here. Loving the platforms and first-party. Just hoping for those 90+ cinematic games to be on Xbox too.

Great to see Insomniac breaking that 90+ barrier for their games that they had not done in a while. They have been easily the most important studio for Sony this gen.
Taking that next step as far as narrative goes seems to be what their games were missing and this is a great sign for Wolverine being great as well since it will probably have a more mature story.

Fascinating to me how IGN's scores went from completely invalid to them but are suddenly valid again after giving SM2 less than a 9.What a blessing in disguise that IGN & Gamespot gave Spider-Man 2 an 8/10 because the Xbots are scrambling for an excuse
They gave a few codes out to people not on Metacritic. Influencer types whose audience takes their word as much or more than any review score.
Funny because they prefer to fast travel in the menu in that other game.
These zealots have taken so many "L's" and still come back with stupidity. They don't care if their wrong, been lied to or have no stellar games, they will continue to propogate their propoganda. Wasting your time refuting them is futile.
