Do people actually hate Amazon that much? I have such a positive experience with them.
I hate MS a lot more. Them buying GitHub, LinkedIn, their shitty software being pushed on schools, Windows, Office, Teams, I hate it all. Xbox might actually be one of their least offensive products.

The only way this gets funnier is if Sony already made moves to counter the ABK deal in case it did pass.

I can name two-dozen accounts on r/PS5 that behave in the same manner. They engage in general discussion, seem pleasant enough on the surface, but when the topic of Microsoft or Xbox arises their mask slips or they drop all pretence and begin advocating hard. They have little or no activity in Xbox subs, yet know what every Xbox Game Studio is working on, how far along each project is, and express AI-like excitement for the future of Xbox.
Their main export is negativity. Enter any Sony 1st-party game thread and there they appear, expressing low-level disappointment. Visit PSVR and you see the same usernames: "My headset is already collecting dust" or "I'm thinking of selling mine because it makes me sick."
They are Xbox enthusiasts trying to form or shape narrative, and by presenting as PlayStation fans they think their opinion carries more weight.
Is it me or is Nintendo's silence somewhat telling? They've yet to say anything like their disappointed the deal got blocked. I kind of wonder if they regret getting caught up in Microsoft circus now that the FTC is asking documents from them?
