Not even the mods can’t handle the bots shifting on the CMA, huh?
It’s time they realize the institution knows what it’s doing, the people there know the market and they understand MS. They are sure what MS moves next moves were going to be after the deal was closed and they were plainly obvious and dangerous to everyone else.
I swear, these avatarless, MS corporate bootlickers show up a dime a dozen, at least five per minute in the Reset thread. Trying to sound moderately educated on the issue but revealing how little they actually know. Like this clown.
"Hurting MS's ability to compete in a $200 billion market". No, clown. MS have hurt their own ability to compete in that market for at least the past 10 years by neglecting to build the value of their console brand, devaluing the need for their own console by doing Day 1 releases on PC, releasing multiple mediocre 1P games over the years, cancelling what few big/interesting exclusives that were lined up during the XBO generation, relegating markets like Japan to secondhand status at the launch of the XBO, failing to secure 3P partnerships during the peak of the 360 years, failing to capitalize on offers for exclusive content with companies like Marvel, failing to pay out big bucks for 3P Day 1 AAA titles in Game Pass for the entirety of 2022, and as we're now seeing, letting their own 1P versions of games on their own platforms release to inferior status despite having more time to polish behind them compared to the earlier PlayStation releases.
And you want to sit here and type this BS saying it's regulators who are preventing MS from "competing" in the market? No, Microsoft have done enough of that to themselves for a while now. The "competition" you're speaking of in buying big publishers was merely to bolster the Xbox division's flagging revenue figures by taking the revenue from those publishers and cramming them into Xbox's. That's exactly what they did with Zenimax, why do you think the Xbox division saw that bump in the following fiscal quarters? Why do you think Content & Services revenue went up? Use what semblance of a brain you have.
So many of the other crap points you wasted time posting here are just as easily countered by actual reasoning. ABK doesn't need MS to buy them to bring COD to a more powerful Switch; in fact as an independent 3P publisher ABK would have MORE incentive to do so than under Microsoft, since ABK are wholly reliant on gaming revenue whereas for Microsoft, gaming revenue is a complete afterthought in the whole of the company's revenue pipeline. Your complaint about ABK's future not being certain if COD dies off is, similarly, a failure of an argument, because you're doing the same thing you're accusing the CMA of doing: using a hypothetical as a means to argue the merits of the deal. In your case, to approve the deal.
Except if ABK dies because COD dies...then ABK dies. Plenty of publishers have died before due to failure of their IP, but that is the market's way of responding to their offerings. The actual customer market deciding COD isn't worth the money anymore isn't a sudden out for Microsoft to consolidate ownership of ABK or their associated IP, you dunce.
This person's whole post is just a bullet list of copium. It might be Florian Mueller's Reset profile for all we know
Unless I missed something, I’m surprised Microsoft hasn’t said something today. I figured they would have at least put out a fiery statement or something.
Yo that bootleg better call Saul. Brad Sam'sor whatever that guy legit did theatrical stage show in conferences. Showing Pie charts ,waving BS contracts in the air. This guys really thought that would work over real data. Was he trying to convince public or what? Seriously is this guy an actor or lawyer?
These MS guys are just untrustworthy .The amount of trash they did. To get CMA/FTC to miss stuff is ... smh.
Subpoenas asking companies to reveal their business plans, finicials, company structure. They reckless almost got Nintendo & others to expose their business. That's messy. It's not a good look. Would you deal with someone that drags you into their mess?? Constantly going on TV talking about doing this deal and making bald claims on products they don't own. You reflect on the stuff they did and it's like wow. Why didn't you just tell the truth up front. I've missed stuff out. These things are the the main issue "behavior" And you prove to us you incapable of not being a slimebag.
These guys have still not done the FTC requests. This that behavior issue. That lets us know you are hiding and planning some BS. Instead of telling the truth you do all these slimebag actions. It just makes the decisions easier to block.
Seriously you write the list of BS these guys did. They probably aided in squashing the Activision harassment cases. Slimebags.
