So guys if this deal fells through in a couple of months, what do you think will happen?
a) Xbox division gets shutdown
b) Xbox will be restructured as 3rd Party developer
c) Microsoft will try to go after Ubisoft after some time passed

Meanwhile the same forum put a bullseye out for Jim Ryan for simply reminding employees that even if they are liberal or conservative on topics like abortion, they are still coworkers and have to work together to get things done. Apparently that was "going too far", but openly sharing right-wing pro-acquisition hit pieces from Conservative UK authors attempting to indoctrinate public perception in favor of the deal is perfectly fine, when it's Microsoft.
There may still be some decent posters there but Reset as a forum is complete

Bro some of the stuff with her is near cult-like behavior. I'm sure some of them have shrines with her pictures in their closets, worshipping them and...doing "other" stuff with those pictures, most likely.
If more users on the forum had the confidence to call out the contradiction and hypocrisy, maybe things would be different. What gets me isn't even the allowing of Conservative viewpoints and publications per se (don't like the extremes on either side but the more moderate voices & viewpoints are tolerable & generally reasonable, IMO), but mainly the fact it's just due to them being pro-acquisition and pro-Microsoft. And, the fact they blasted Jim Ryan last year for simply suggesting they needed to be open to tolerate differing perspectives on certain issues when you're coworkers with someone and have to still get the job done.
Like, either allow (tolerable) conservative viewpoints in all cases (obviously, nothing that is racist/sexist/homophobic etc.) or don't allow them at all. But they pick and choose, and apparently it's okay to share pro-capitalist articles from Conservative people and publications when it's beneficial to MS and the ABK deal, huh? Hypocrites.

Other thought, maybe ill eat crow here soon but, the fact Brad Smith hasnt tweeted anything out like "Had a productive meeting the CMA/that hunt guy, looking forward to doing business in the UK" kind of telling? He's usually extremely vocal on twitter about this deal. Maybe im reading too much into it though?

100%. MS have had enough to compete with for a while; I would think people at Zenimax would look at Satya saying they need ABK to compete and say "What, we weren't enough, Microsoft? We aren't good enough?". Heck, maybe that's what Mike Brown and others from Playground thought when they decided to leave and start their own studio.
At the end of the day the hypocrites are the ones who have to look at themselves in the mirror everyday, and contend with the fact they are, in fact, hypocrites. That's their burden, and they chose it freely and openly.

That is true, but I've noticed that some on the other side do the same when corporations appear to be "anti-woke", because they suddenly think those companies are on "their side".
