Wii was a GameCube, a generation and more behind ps360 because of multi core CPUs in the ps360. It still sold 100 million units.
Downplaying the switch as a success because Nintendo left the home console space is pure cope. The DS and Gameboy have sold more than any other playstation except the PS2.
Ironically, the last time Sony had no competition they sold the most consoles ever in history. This time, with no competition, they're losing out to a handheld and their previous gen console.

During the Wii DS era they sold 100 million Wiis and 150 million DS consoles. That’s 250 million consoles.

And we all know the Game Boy Color was a different console with many hundred of exclusifs galmes can't be played on the original Game Boy.
