Overall it looks like it could be pretty fun, but "janky" fun. You know the kind. The type of game you can feel is made on a tight budget, and at times may be too ambitious for what it's doing. The kind where there'll be plenty of wonky hit detection, graphical glitches, awkward NPC routines, jarring transitions, cheap-feeling font on certain menus, etc.
If you're not in the headspace to accept those types of limitations, the game will just be terrible for you. But if you're used to playing janky budget mid-tier games, Avowed's limitations may be tolerable and you can have fun with the game a good bit in spite of those. If I had to go by MC, and going by the "classic" grading system from K-12 of years past, it looks like it'll be a solid 77 - 80 type of game.
