Why does Disney have to remake everything in 'live action' I love stitch hopefully they don't balls this up lol
OofDamn, my comment actually got edited because I mentioned Israel?….wow
I posted a meme Elon musk posted on twitter & you have a meltdownIslamophobia is cool. Racism is cool. Homophobia is cool. Transphobia is cool. Mention Israel? Naw dawg, too far.
Anyway, tried contacting mods to get my account privately deleted, but haven’t gotten a response so I dunno @Sircaw or whoever, please assist, thank you. This place isn’t for me.

Dude you are one of the only sane people on this site who actually play games that aren't complete mainstream slop I will miss you ;_;Islamophobia is cool. Racism is cool. Homophobia is cool. Transphobia is cool. Mention Israel? Naw dawg, too far.

I agree with you, but it's not uncontroversial unfortunately. We live in a world where the US, Canada, the UK, and France are boycotting the Nagasaki Peace Memorial because Israel was barred from it.Yup. It's not a controversial take that Israel is currently committing a massive genocide and in 50 years historians will look back on this akin to the 3rd Reich. It's shameful. Islam has its problems but we can't ignore the absolute atrocities being committed right now. This is not a political issue, it is a human issue.
I stopped clicking anything Kotaku over the same article and I never understood how Stephen Totilo didn't get more flak as editor for allowing the article with those pictures to be included. He got a job with Axios afterwards and God knows how he managed to explain that. I couldn't condone that article & photos in the least.Random off the current topic on the topic of the thread thing: I'm actually permabanned on Neogaf because I defended a Kotaku article talking about Pokemon and Harry Potter porn.
It's a really bizarre and kind of unique ban lmao
It's an odd article to be sure, and that they had those pictures on display is very....irresponsible. I was originally defending it because making sweeping judgements about the writers character seemed extreme to me, it being all cartoons. The Harry Potter bit is really especially skeevy when you think about it though; I don't entirely agree with my former stance anymore since giving it more thought.I stopped clicking anything Kotaku over the same article and I never understood how Stephen Totilo didn't get more flak as editor for allowing the article with those pictures to be included. If the same shit happens here then I will delete my account immediately
All I'll say is Kotaku is extremely luck Emma Watson didn't get wind of it as she'd have sued them into the prehistoric age. I couldn't remember the article but I noped out the moment I was ambushed with the photos. I'm not a prude but mock ups of child porn is abhorrent. Totilo never got any blowback from it and it is known in games journalism anyway that editors add their own wording and shit to articles (maybe pics). Tim Rogers has definitely mentioned that before so potentially a journalist's article was altered and the writer was punished for something they may not have submitted. It's an odd article to be sure, and that they had those pictures on display is very....irresponsible. You treat a forum full of adults like they're children. The mods have tried to let open and fair conversations take place on this forum.
But it seems we are damned if we do or damned if we don't.
Everyone seems to be offended by something. Why did you post that? Why am i not aloud to post this, the list goes on and on, so the best course of action will probably be to close this. Thread down.
I will discuss this with the other mods and see what they say.
We have a policy of not discussing politics; you know that; everyone knows that on this forum, hence why politics posts have been shut down.
The war in the Middle East is a forbidden topic as it solves nothing and leads to infighting here.
but politics is freely discussed here all the timeWe have a policy of not discussing politics; you know that; everyone knows that on this forum, hence why politics posts have been shut down.
Israel / Palestine is a minefield that shouldn't be discussed on here it will just be a headache for the sites staffbut politics is freely discussed here all the time
i guess you have the luxury of not dealing with dozens of reports and moaning people. You treat a forum full of adults like they're children.
