i don't understand why that is a big deal, I do that at the park everyday.
I'm housebound 99% of the time due to my anxiety it would be great exercise for me lol

You can never please everyone so just do what you feel is right. People NOT reporting and moaning to you also have views on these things and they will get ignored in favor of a noisy minority, essentially.

This is the problem. Either crackdown on everything or nothing at all. Being selective with deleting is creating general discontent.
