Anybody who thinks that the PS5 would run GoWR with the same graphical feature settings as it is running it now at 4k60 if it had the option to run it at 800p locked 30fps needs to think twice.
How are these combinations of settings even comparable in the first place? Between a console and a handheld device like the Steam Deck?
By all means, crank up all the options, then lock the framerate down to 30fps so that the battery maybe lasts 40 minutes instead of 20.

Did anyone say the demand was the same? No, the point is given the rendering resolution of the Steam Deck it can run anything, and with even higher graphical settings in some cases than these new consoles can.

Again not a very intelligent post. The Steam Deck screen has 215 PPI, a 65" 4K TV has a PPI of 67.
It's not a sacrifice and the IQ on the Steam Deck will actually be higher than on a 4K TV relative. You're not very good at this.

Yea, you are defending without seeing there isn't a 1:1 comparision between SD and PS5. If you got back and read everything with an open-mind instead of thinking someone is shitting on the PS hardware, you'd see the point.
GoW(2018) runs with higher graphical features than a PS4/PS5. For example, the most expensive lighting feature in 2018 is the directional ambient occlusion which was incorporated in the PC version (along with 16X Anisotropic texture filtering). The SD can run that as well as high settings in 2018 and with respect to the 800p monitor, it's running better visuals. All I'm saying is that with GoW:R, the same expensive rendering feature (HDAO) will run on the SD along with the added texture layers. I'm not sure it will run at a constant 30FPS, but I'm pretty confident it will.

30FPS is still going to be standard this generation. I doubt people will NOT buy a game if it's playing at most 30FPS. No one complained when the UE5 demo was first shown to the masses.
For longest time I hoped SOR REMAKE would get remade to consoles, sort of like a prototype Sonic Mania deal. Now, with Sony's directional choices, I think I'm going to standardise around some form of portable handheld pc, so I no longer need it porting.
Consoles are 30 FPS, it's a reality. They were able to stave it off for about 6 months but we're right back there. Low wattage equals low framerate.
