In my years on the internet, arguing with XBOX denizens, those little tidbits you posted to educate them or to repel their lies and fud won't do anything to detract them, they will continue to wallow and dive headfirst into the murky waters. Facts, stats, proper explanations and education on any issue they don't understand or which they intentionally try to FUD up will not allow you to change their stance or minds. They eschew facts plain and simple....and with their faith based on deceit and lies, they will take this fight to the death.
I always say, you can be a hardcore fan, but at least deal in facts. Arguing things you know are not factual has no basis whatsoever.

I guess what irks them more on what Faulkner is saying is that he somehow suggests MS does not have this unlimited cash reserve that they thought. It's always funny when XBOX fans think all of MS money belongs to the XBOX division. Why would MS bankrupt their profitable divisions and put all their profits and financing into a failed XBOX initiative that has been failing for over 20 years, always in last place.
To some of these X fans, their King Phil and the side they prefer has huge coffers even though it's not gaming related, they use it in gaming circles as some e-penis gesticulation. You will hear them sometimes.....MS can buy Sony, Nintendo and the whole industry "derp derp". Sony is broke they can't even buy sardines and beans. Soon MS will own this whole industry and we will win. It's really a degenerative mindset, that they want to call a win by any means necessary. So if MS buys the whole industry, then they will be "Numbah Won". So sad, really.

Truth be told, I'm not against competition or MS being in the industry. Yet as you said, it's all the lies and deceit, the fandom that are willfully dishonest. How can XBOX ever get better with such fans. There was a time when XBOX had good guys, Robbie Bach, J Allard and those boys, they tried, they gave us solid games on OG XBOX. Hell even Mattrick gave them some good third party exclusives even though it wasn't from MS studios. What Phil has done with his leadership is to JimJonesify in the form of a white knight or savior of xbox, that achievement hunting gamer or would be regular everyday xbro, has secretly recruited zealots, bots on discords, reddit, forums and general social media to infiltrate every avenue with unsubstantiated lies and FUD. It's been working and they've been nasty. Someone argues with numbers, logic, discourse, they hit back with insults, dismissals etc...
I see nothing wrong with what Faulkner argued, if you can dispel what he says I'm listening and I will follow your arguments too, if you counter, bring your own stats to counter as opposed to wanting to shut down a very calm and astute discussion that he is having. This whole crusade to shut down discussion is so tiring.
6.5 is from April to June. Horizon was released in February and GT7 in March. If you cut into half, both of these games sold more then a million a month passed their prime. Especially Horizon. It is amazing numbers for any game anywhere.

Crazy how MS is kinda going suicidal in gaming when they should focus on their Windows going smoothly to ARM next as they'll be eaten alive with the current state from Apple and Google as more and more customers are leaning towards the convenience and advantages that ARM offers over disadvantages.
6.4 numbers are real, but this is only from this last quarter (April -June) and people think Horizon and GT7 sold a combined 6.4 million copies.
