It's still early, just wait until Sea of Thieves is officially announced on PS5. Journalists will start making articles about how "pro-consumer" Xbox is and start pressuring Sony to release Helldivers 2 on Xbox in exchange.
It's crazy how MS still doesn't get that their paid media articles won't make a difference. With the small Xbox install base and proclivity to not buy games, there's no financial impetus for Sony to port Helldivers 2. I was reading some comments in another forum from a couple users who seem to be in the know and they spoke about how heavily MS is into astroturfing and social media influence. They said all companies do it, but MS is on a whole other level. I think this is obvious to anyone paying attention. What I don't get is how MS has failed to realize that it is not helping. Sure, it makes their extreme fans even more blindly loyal but it doesn't sell consoles, Game Pass, or attract new users. It's just so toxic and futile at the same time.
