Sugarbetik/Nautilus is just coping with his irrelevant numbers. Zelda and Pokemon were on a 100+ millions install base compared with Spider-Man 2 on only 46 millions.

Even GOW had the the full 100+ millions on PS4 to help sale those extra copies. The difference is very small.

And as I expected about Spiderman 2 initially they definitely saw it wasn't gonna beat the Ragnarok record after the weekend and got out the day one sales.

Spidey 2 is on 1 platform. GOWR was on 2.

We have to consider that games are 80 euro now and 70 dollars...so many people could possibly be priced out at launch. Just one possible explanation among many.

That's precisely one of the reasons I mentioned in my original post. Along with a lower PS5 install base and people actually having less money to spare in today's economic environment.

It’s too soon to tell though. We’ll get a better picture by the end of the year. It's just an assumption.
