I've been assuming he's a kid for a few days now...What is this thread. Op we all knew you were insane, but to show out in the open like this is...well
Here (Denmark) it's even worse... It's 25 %. So I paid like $937 (6390 DKK) for my PS5 Pro and there's still the Blu-Ray disc drive and the stand which would then SO FAR make the price be $1112. But I could save some money by waiting for the Black Friday etc. sales and that might make be $1067 or less.Poland 3499pln
That’s 892$
+559pln for drive (142$)
+139pln for stand (35$)
That totals for 1069$
You might also like to know that :
Slim 30th anniversary was 2399pln (611$)... for some reason I also got that.
30th anniversary Dualsense was 369pln (94$) ... and I got two of these.
So yeah. That was a "good day"
edit: That's all with vat tax. We don't have ability to buy without vat. Shit is like 20% here
Poland has a 23% sales tax.
Real price?
725.09 USD
The way you think about price is not how the average joe in the real world operates.
I think you're missing my point, which is that your individual countries are the reason you're paying so much more for the PS5 Pro. You pay higher taxes and that comes with trade offs.
Lmao skill issue socialists countriesIn the actual real world.
€799.99 (~$887)
£699.99 (~$920)
Found the americanLmao skill issue socialists countries
LOL yeah now do the bluray drive, because most Europeans buy with the drive and Sony knows this.
Dear mods (@Sircaw ? @Bryank75 ?),
We have a Sony doom and gloom thread where all the doom&gloom gets concentrated and doesn't fill in the first page with the same topics. That's perfectly fine by me.
But can we also get a "Sony shilling & corporate bootlicking" so that @mibu no ookami can put all these topics in there?
My father payed four euros for his ozempic,so...Lmao skill issue socialists countries
Most Americans buy the drive version as well...
What's the difference?
There are a mountain of reasons other than simple corporate greed that result in prices being different region to region, but putting out facts that don't jive with your bias must be shilling.
At the end of the day the tax rates are one of the biggest reasons for differences this topic was to highlight that, but it's not limited to that. You have the cost of operating in a smaller markets, which may include increased cost of transportation or even different costs to import.
Most are their products are pretty much directly in line with the base unit costs but there are exceptions. Exceptions like the disc drives should be investigated, but the first reaction shouldn't be "GREEEEEEED"
The only people who can't see that are children.
LOL you really are clueless.
Greed is fine. Every company works on "greed", i.e. making more profit on the short and long term. It's also called fiduciary duty.
The slop you desperately keep trying to sell people like the good little corporate bootlicker you are, is saying it's good that Sony is deciding to charge more money from Europeans and Asians than from Americans.
No one's buying your crap.
I wrote "now do the same for the disc drive" but that part wasn't as convenient for your agenda, was it?
Go on, now. Do the VAT calculations for the disc drive for Europeans and tell us the price difference between that and the USA.
No, I am from Poland, so I am screwed too lolFound the american
And I have to wait 8 months for my "free healthcare" doctor appointment. My father payed four euros for his ozempic,so...

Poland is not really an example. Murica is not an example when it concerns to appointments because you both wait and have to pay through your eyeballs on insurance. Overall Muricans have shittier healthcare, so please don't complain too much. If only they cleansed their country of wokism stuff would work better. And I have to wait 8 months for my "free healthcare" doctor appointment.
In Poland the whole VAT system is absolutely broken, because It depends on the product you are selling. In a worst case scenario VAT is 25% in Euro countries (27% in non-euro countries).
799 euro is around 870 freedom units
If you deduct 25% VAT from 799 you get 639 euro. That's 699 freedom units
This means that the EU is indeed being shafted, considering most countries have a VAT between 19 and 23%. But we know, europoors have to always subsidise rich muricans since they spend all their money on weapons and health bills.

Health spending
Health spending is the final consumption of health care goods and services including personal health care and collective services.www.oecd.org
That's how vat works everywhere in the EU.For example, confectionery products have a VAT rate of 8%, but wheat products have a VAT rate of 5%. Now, when you are selling a donut, which one is It? I dont know, you dont know, and they dont know either, so It causes a bureaucratic nightmare.
Oh, a turd disguised as an opinion. And about the healthcare. No one uses it in Poland, because you have to wait months (or even years!) for an appointment. If you need help right now, which most of the time is the case, you just go private and pay the "murica" prices anyways. It's all a scam. Governemnt funded trash cannot work by definition, because there's no competition. No incentive to try and work harder and better, when you know you cannot loose, because you are funded from above.
