I think, people just shit on its graphics because it is PS exclusive. Imagine getting so obvious ammo? They usually reserve them to nitpick every smallest detail..

Great graphics, doesn't mean it is a good game.

Ronin is more AA game than AAA. It is pretty clear they have small budget.

It’s all a concerted effort to diminish what SIE is strongest in. Exclusives, and big blockbuster games.

It’s been going on for years, and now they’ve seen weakness so they’ve been trying to exploit and create fud around it. Basically try and bring sony down to Xbox’s level with software

NioH released in 2017, Ghost of Tsushima in 2020. most people even calling it NioH in open World. especially when development started long before you even seen anything Ghost of Tsushima related.
Nioh looks like a souls game
Rise of the Ronin looks like Ghost of Tsushima

Emphasis on LOOKS LIKE. And I'm sorry, but the stance mechanic, at least how it's presented to the player, is a carbon copy of GoT, that's not even debatable. The look and feel is essentially the same

Stances was in NioH 2017.

if you want emphasis on Looks, it doesn't look or feel the same or essentially the same at all.

Ghost of Tsushima was inspired by 70s-80s movies, with all that cinematic feel, white and black screen, stan off etc..

Rise of the Ronin inspired by history and made with Stamina bar, bone fire, respawning enemies, multiple weapon skills etc..

okey, it is looking for you like Ghost of Tsushima, okey.

but for me, who played all recent Tema Ninja games, Sekiro, Ghost of Tsushima, it doesn't look any of it.

Ronin looks a lot more like GoT. Here's what Nioh looks like in comparison - please note how different the UI elements are.

This is completely besides the point, but GoT is also inspired by the mongol invasion of Tsushima, an historical event.

Story is getting positive feedback. That was my only worry with the game.

I got it preordered but might be a bit before I can play it, taking my sweet time with rebirth.

Man the astroturfers are busy with this one, era, gaf, YouTube comments. If it were the other way around and 30fps Dragons Dogma was PS5 exclusive it would get shitted on and this game praised if it were multiplat.

DD2 is looking barely better, both aren't PS5 games, different, that one has 3 graphical modes and the other 0, 1080p not even locked 30fps which is worse than 30fps locked. but of course. let's ignore it.
