Brazil's analysis actually showed that Microsoft might have a real interest in foreclosing competitors and potential competitors, but it wasn't relevant to the Brrazilian market because Brazilian gamers don't care about Actibilizz games, which is why they approved the deal. That has no bearing on what the EU or FTC will do (although I expect that the FTC will back down eventually, the EU is known to be some of the strictest regulators when it comes to large acquisitions).
I'd disagree, a deal this large and with this many implications requires more than just handwaving it through and a spicy zinger aimed at Playstation. It's likely why the EU and CMA are taking so much longer and appear to have more concerns.

Either way, I still disagree that the deal should/will be allowed to go through totally unconditionally with no concessions in every region. No concessions is just handing Xbox too much power imo.

The only reason Brazil and their anticompetitive body CADE came into public view is because they were the first ones to raise concerns about the acquisition.
