lol

You and your friend are using 3 year old articles to try and do a GOTCHA BITCH.gif

Please put in some more effort next time, pumpkin.

The only reason Brazil and their anticompetitive body CADE came into public view is because they were the first ones to raise concerns about the acquisition.

Saying they just hand-waived it off is rewriting a big portion of the twitter ferver from mid 2022.

IKR.

Did a lot of people just collectively forget most of 2022 ? It's weird.
My point is that Brazil letting it through with no concessions whatsoever was a bad call with bad implications for the industry at large, one I hope the CMA and EU don't repeat. I'm done arguing this topic though, I already know you guys will argue about this shit on behalf of Xbox endlessly.

No argument, but it is a bit weird that you are saying that without demanding concessions, it means no due diligence was done. It's hand-waiving their entire anti-competitive organizations result because of the way you feel about the result.

Also, lol, wasn't this thread initially about Ubisoft?

I disagree, but as I said before, I'm done with this shit show and done contributing to the derailing of this topic.

You didn't before posting, otherwise you'd see how its a dumb thing to try and use news from 2020 to use as a gotcha against something that happened mid 2022 😅
The contract was reported to go on for 3 years, so 2020-2023. You don't think an event that happened in 2020 can affect something that happened in 2022? That's more braindead than usual for you.

- Contract is for remote educational platforms and programs
- Being used as a gotcha for an anti-competitive review for a tech acquisition that happened years later

Stable geniuses at work here, folks.

First of all, I didn't say that the contract would have affected the outcome in any way, only that your objection of using earlier dates as some sort of proof against correlation is nonsense. Second of all, highly ironic that you are now moving the goalposts after you were asked not to move the goalposts in another post.

Moving goalposts is his specialty.

You keep using the phrase "moving goal posts", I don't think you know what that actually means lol.

I'll give you an example: Saying that the acquisition was passed through Brazil because of an unrelated contract years ago, after championing CADE all through the summer of 2022 for having the 'balls' to raise concerns about the acquisition. Aka moving the goal posts.

That Ubisoft tho huh ?

"Aye man it's always good to check the dates before posting nonsense, lol."

boy it sure helps to read what you write before you post. Maybe if you had led off with "it's an unrelated contract" your posts would have been more relevant and sensical.

I think that should have been obvious without me needing to spell it out when someone thinks using articles for deals made in 2020 were somehow detrimental for an unrelated investigation in 2022. This is not the kind of thing that needs to be spoon-fed lol.

The onus is generally on the person providing the article, but ah well. 🤷‍♂️

Agreed, but I don't think it's nice to call out Dodkrake for having signs of mental illness.

I'm sure he'll check the source and its contents before trying to use it as a gotcha in the future 💚

I'm not moving the goalposts, I'm simply done with the prior conversation and curious as to why you're posting so much on here now.
