And like I said before. That article is not news or reporting. There is no context given to what he even meant, and as we know by the actual numbers, the interpretation trying to be put forth either by you or Yahoo is simply not true.
It's not that anyone is offended, it's just a random nonsensical statement given the way it's presented. And you're posting it for sad, lonely, console warrior reasons.

I know topics I make aren't to everyones liking all the time, it's very easy to just ignore them every now and then.

Sony are right to downplay their subscription offing. If part of your argument is the competition is strong and will become a monopoly, then you don't compare the actual numbers if yours are higher.

Why? Sony first party games sell. Why devalue your games? They wouldn't have gotten 11m Ragnarok sales had it been on PS+ subscription. To counter this, Sony wouldn't have enough additional subscribers to make up the lost sales.
