This straight after job listings at playstation for devs to code games for different system architectures. It has to be a new handheld that will support new games and ps4 back cat titles.
That's just a good thing in general though. This straight after job listings at playstation for devs to code games for different system architectures. It has to be a new handheld that will support new games and ps4 back cat titles.
Playstation looking to steal nintendo thunder with a more powerful handheld competitor than the switch 2.Weird how people are excited for this but seen to forget the failures that were the PsP and Ps Vita do we really want another waste of money being put out there?
The apparent success of PlayStation Portal was a surprise to me, maybe it was a surprise to Sony as well and now they gained the confidence to try something more ambitious.I guess portal was playstation dipping it's toe in to the handheld market to see if a full blown console would be worth the investment.
No chance that they would make it a requirement like the Series S, that would be way too stupid.I really hope it doesn't run PS5 games, or at least it's not a requirement to make games run on it. Yet another platform to support surely won't help with the already lacking quantity and lower than usual quality of their first party studios. Series S docet.
i don't get all this obsession with everything suppose to support everything.I really hope it doesn't run PS5 games, or at least it's not a requirement to make games run on it. You spitting. It’s almost as if folks forgot how much a handheld would split resources. Both Sony and Nintendo gained a lot leaving their secondary markets.i don't get all this obsession with everything suppose to support everything.
as a customer, in the on that stick, i am getting worst outcome imagine. all games will suffer because of this shit, from quality to design and size and increased in development time.
PSP sold 80 million. Hardly a failure, despite never breaking Nintendo's grip on handhelds. The portal, which doesn't even play games natively, is a success, so focusing on creating console content and having a handheld form factor out there for a different market is anything but a waste.Weird how people are excited for this but seen to forget the failures that were the PsP and Ps Vita do we really want another waste of money being put out there?
No split resources here because it already supports existing titles and will compete with Switch 2. (Steam Deck is not competition, it's the little leagues.) Developing for it exclusively would be a waste. You spitting. It’s almost as if folks forgot how much a handheld would split resources. Hogwarts Legacy, Modern Warfare III, Madden NFL 24, Diablo IV, Street Fighter 6, Resident Evil 4, the most popular games of last year released on PS4.Idk if I want this tbh. Old games are boring
