If FF16 gets a pro mode announced along with the ps5pro or soon after, we'll know that they got a dev kit early at least
Yoshi-p did say they had an 18 month sales plan for FF16... game released in june 2023, 18 months later is december 2024... makes sense if the pro is out at the end of 2024
Kinda a little annoying that that might be their framerate performance fix. As it stands the framerate still isn't stable on the 60fps mode.

I am not German, just a French guy living there. Second thing is I am tired of your attempts to rile me up. You would be the first guy to hide of the news Sony buying Square Enix and be dead silent about it. Our bet if Urata becomes CEO, I didn’t also forget. The PC version is what they are factoring in. PC version isn't coming late Spring / early summer
Sony shouldn't buy jackshit, in my opinion. Not unless they're small to mid-sized studios that require that funding in order to operate and do not want to be independent -- Sony has acquired a lot of these in the past and organically allowed them to grow and that's great. But I am 100% against them buying Square or any such large publisher.
And before any console wars arises from what I say: Let me just say that the more Sony buys, the more regulators will be on-board with Microsoft gobbling up even more publishers in the name of "competition". We must be fair. Consolidation is shit anywhere. Not just when Microsoft does it.

I doubt that Microsoft can buy another publisher after buying two huge ones in a row. Even if Sony would buy Square, it will literally change nothing for Microsoft.
But that's not how it works. Regulators know the differences at play with the two companies. They didn't suddenly forget MS bought Zenimax mere months before announcing intent to purchase ABK. They aren't unaware of Xbox's market performance yet somehow they can "easily" afford ABK because it's actually the significantly larger Microsoft footing the bill.
Sony isn't going to be kneecapped in who they buy just to be made lockstep with Microsoft for the pretense of false competition. If they want to buy a company, and that company wants to be bought, and no clear anticompetitive or business violations are being conducted between the two in the act of the intended M&A, it will with highly probability be approved. Regulators don't exist to punish market leaders who earned their share of the market by offering competition and customers rewarding them for being the better competitor.
That's not how M&A regulations are designed to function.
