You tend to use hyperbole a lot, I'm only mentioning it since I'm finding it tough to discern your sincere opinion. You say their shooting is below the industry standard. Let's dig into that. What is the industry standard for something like recoil and how is Bethesda falling short of that standard? Whenever I shoot the Equinox laser rifle while ADSing there's enough recoil that I'm no longer aiming at my initial target. There's also an accuracy stat on weapons that ties into the recoil. If Bethesda is not meeting the industry standard on recoil, what do you suggest they need to improve on to meet that standard? The reason you think it's so much improved is because Bethesda had the worst shooting in the industry, the gunplay was indie level garbage in their previous games and that's an insult to higher quality indie games. But compared to the rest of the industry the shooting is still below average. The guns lack impact, there's no recoil (despite the guns being animated to seem like they recoil), enemies don't react realistically to being shot.

Well, at least you disagree with anonpuffs who said "slightly more polished" than previous Bethesda games. I don't find their shooting to be shit and I find it quite enjoyable, you can tell a calibrated weapon from an uncalibrated one just from the shooting mechanics. That alone makes weapon modding more meaningful. You say this is a hill to die on and I'm wondering where the threat is coming from.Person with 20 hours in the game here.
The shooting in Starfield is shit. Its much better than in Fallout 4, but we're comparing explosive diarrhea with slightly moist crap here.
There can be a few hills to die on regarding Starfield, but shooting is absolutely not one of them.
The scent of freshly-cut Astroturf wafts from every one of your posts, man.I've played plenty of games. I hope you've finished Starfield or played enough missions to declare it the worst action RPG among BGS titles. I'm still playing it so I can't make such a declaration. So far, I'm finding a lot to love in the game, I think I prefer the Space setting to the post-apocalyptic setting of Fallout.
From my experience with the game, I think you are vastly underselling the improvement of shooting mechanics. Guns fire better, and the enemys' reactions to being hit are so much better. You are also much more mobile as a character making different playstyles with guns much more viable in Starfield compared to Fallout. Stand out for me is the jet pack, on what booster mod you have on your pack you have very different sorts of gunfights, it's kind of like the Titan, Warlock or Hunter jump in Destiny.
Ok, cool. The scent of freshly-cut Astroturf wafts from every one of your posts, man.
He said it’s not a hill to die on. Because it’s not. Because the shooting really sucks.Well, at least you disagree with anonpuffs who said "slightly more polished" than previous Bethesda games. Listen Mr. @Bryank75, it takes a lot of energy to cause drama on these forums, Infuture please do not interject with facts, you are ruining my fun to create chaos.News to me... LOL
To be clear, I currently don't feel like the argument that Starfield's shooting is good is under any threat. Anonpuffs and Satoru seem to be in disagreement at the degree to which Starfield shooting is an improvement over other Bethesda titles. If you are in agreement with Anonpuffs please help me out with my earlier inquiry:He said it’s not a hill to die on. Because it’s not. Because the shooting really sucks.
Everything @anonpuffs described is 100% how the game feels.

When I say threat, don't take it literally, I was just trying to playfully extend the "Hill to die upon" idiom. But who is threating you? I just said it's not a hill to die on, because it isn't. There's a few things this game does well, and this is not one of them.
It won’t happen. People are still not talking about Starfield outside gaming forums and xbots twitter. The game has flopped. It hasn’t tracked to number 1 (yet?) on XBL most played. It’s at no. 3 one week since early access.
Umm… if that doesn’t happen that will be hugely concerning. Indicates gamespass subs are low or stagnating or whatever it ends up looking like.
If this doesn’t exponentially increase gamespass subs they’re going to have to backpedal on offering day 1 launches for tentpole release on the service.
Lol. Imagine being this deluded. It won’t happen. People are still not talking about Starfield outside gaming forums and xbots twitter. The game has flopped.
Lol, this seems like an account that won't last long here.Lol. Imagine being this deluded.
Bye, bye. Cope on colt's channel. What's your next saviour going to be? Fable? Avowed? If you put a fraction of your energy on demanding better from xbox, you'd be in a much better mental state than your copium filled breakdown you've been in for years.Lol. Imagine being this deluded.
