I think a lot of the anger also comes from the fact that public opinion largely hasn't shifted their way despite the years of FUD and lies that they've put out there. They're also angry that a youtuber with a large following isn't on their side. lmao.
It was a GotY contender at launch before Blizzard fucked with the end game. If it and Alan Wake or Mario Wonder had swapped release dates I am sure it would be on the GotY list.

If they want their brand to look good in the public eye, why don’t they give constructive criticism instead of praising everything that MS feeds them?
