Geoff really seems to want Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree to win Game of the Year

It's true. Our council meets under the cover of nightfall in a rundown castle of northern Europe.Rigged.
The PCMR and Xbots will get together to disqualify Astrobot.
It doesn't get any more blatant than this.
Game Awards confirms Elden Ring DLC (and any DLC) is GOTY eligible
The rule clarification is on TGAs’ websitewww.polygon.com
They changed the rules just to give Elden Ring GOTY again and rob AstroBot.
There are more deserving champions, but the western media refuses to acknowledge them for political and corporate reasons. Here's hoping it doesn't win though, even in a down year like this we deserve a more deserving champion than a DLC pack.
Last year the GOTY nominations were- ToTK, Mario wonder, Spidermid 2, BG3, RE4 remake and Alan Bore 2.The Cyberpunk DLC was nominated for GOTY last year, was that against the rules???
I think it got a best RPG or Action/Adventure nod too. There's definitely precedent.Last year the GOTY nominations were- ToTK, Mario wonder, Spidermid 2, BG3, RE4 remake and Alan Bore 2.
Cyberpunk was nominated for best ongoing game
FF7RR and Astro Bot going to be robbed, isn't it?
Lol, Alan Bore 2Last year the GOTY nominations were- ToTK, Mario wonder, Spidermid 2, BG3, RE4 remake and Alan Bore 2.

TotK was a DLC anyways. Shadow of the Erdtree has more new content than that shit did.
