They just released their earning today and it drop by a whopping 37%, while PS5 sales are at a crawl. It is not looking good.
But you keep believing all is good, ever since Jim took over it all been downhill since.

That cannot be true. I did my research PS5 sales are falling being PS4 right now and the games software sales in Japan are Non-existence.

Those are not undisputed facts, as I just mentioned in my first comment. You got many things wrong.
As for the drop, do you know what a drop in operating profits means? It does not necessarily mean that the company is struggling. It means that they are investing a lot of the money back into the division, instead of keeping that money aside as "profit."
PlayStation is growing at an unprecedented level. New studios, organic growth, partnerships, new product lines, etc.
Take a look at the revenue. It's down only by 2%. Now compare that with Xbox's. Their revenue is down by 6%. That's a 400% higher loss in revenue. By your metrics, Jimbo should be replaced even though Jimbo is doing at least 400% better than Phil. Then Phil should be fired immediately, right?

He is bad ever since he took over PlayStation has been going backwards, letting Xbox get back into it & Nintendo running away with Japan.
its almost as if they are putting some heavy investing in future hardware and games. See PSVR 2 and them investing $300 Million in first party games!
The fact that overall revenue is only 2% down even tho we are still having all these chip shortages is pretty amazing.

This is not about Phil Spencer, It about how bad of a job Jim is doing running Playstation.
"PlayStation is growing at an unprecedented level" Is it really? Sure in North America & Europe they are still doing good but in Japan their home turf they are getting killed by Nintendo. Xbox is also making a comeback which will eat away at PlayStation other markets of North America and South America.
With the Lead that was provided to Jim Ryan by past leadership, how Jim manage to run it backwards is unbelievable.

If the revenue is roughly the same and operating profits are down by 30%, that's literally what it means: extremely aggressive growth. That's literally the only thing it means / can mean.

OP failed to mention Jimmy's main problem, that he is missing up with exclusivity of 1st party games and his focus on too much GAAS. Also his recent TV TV garbage

Jimbo is the best. He realized that Xbox is on the correct path and so he's emulating it in every way he can. The future is multiplatform and GaaS, baby.
No, I have my reservations. One complaint from me is that he is a little too aggressive with PC releases (they should still port many games but need to slow down a bit). My biggest complaint is that mobile gaming should have been prioritized over PC, and they still haven't acquired or developed mobile teams, which they should have done by now.
There are complaints, but I disagree with the ones you mentioned above.
I also disagree with your interpretation of today's earning report. PS has performed well, and the 30% decrease in operating profits (when revenue is the same) is a good thing for PS gamers. It means they are increasing game development costs and investing money in the upcoming PS VR 2 launch, instead of putting that money in their pockets as profits.
These threads should be banned from forums. It's a lot of miss information i'm reading and others will pick it up easily and make their own story from it.
This is like saying redbull racing realise alphatauri is in the correct path and the future is being in last place and loose money
