Agree 100%. It's no coincidence that once the marketing budget was slashed people stopped touting their bullshit. The coincidence is so striking that it makes me reconsider my position that adamsapple posts as an astroturfer, dude might just be legitimately lost in the sauce.

That's why the "xbot" term was invented 20 years ago. They are not normal humans and it was obvious since the beginning.

Gaming forums became full of shills and astroturfers sharing the exact same script. You can't never reason with them because they are robots.

PS+ Essentials is way better than Live Gold to anyone and PS+ Extra to most people is also much better than Game Pass.

Cheap people became irrational because of Gamepass and all the tricks that existed be able to get it without paying, now reality is setting in.

Most people would rather get a job than slave away grinding MS rewards like some of these stupid Xbox fanatics that would suck Phil Spencer's dick for a free month of Gamepass.

Also as far as Gamepass go it was a lot like VRR, as long as PlayStation didn't have it, it was all they talked about but now that PS5 has it and makes great use of it they pretend it doesn't exist.

Gamepass or PS Extra works for people who
- play lot of games
- have lot of time
if you are like myself who has wife and kids, work and friends then you have a very limited time and that makes me very picky when it comes to the games I play. big AAA games usually skip subscription services and also take lot of time for me to finish.
subscription services make sense for people who can sit and finish a 20h game in just one or two days.
another thing I don't understand when people say Gamepass will target mobile people: you won't find someone playing ES6 on a 6inch phone in a metro a 6AM commuting to work. these people will just play the easiest match 3 game possible and won't be paying 180$ per year to do that.

Plays a lot of games, has a lot of free time, depends on a cheap service for something they seems to value so much.... sound a lot like MS is going after the broke and unemployed.

Like one had skipped all platforms where the game (I can't even recall the game's name) was and it turned out that this specific game could be had for less than a month of gamepass in many places.
