For some reason I just can't bring myself to be too excited over these sales numbers anymore. My biggest question in the near-term has already been answered: is XBS tracking below XBO? And the answer is yes, but this stuff today is just confirmation of what some of us were speculating almost a full year ago. Same goes with the recent changes to Game Pass; it's just confirmation of things we speculated way back but got shat on, because, I guess, it "wasn't the right time".
At least WRT the American market, these sales only become notable again for me if either: XBS starts tracking well ahead of XBO, or PS5 starts tracking below PS4 when supply isn't the issue. If either of those happen and sustain for a long enough period, that should open up some new dialog. Otherwise it's just the usual: Sony & Nintendo are generating big sales, Sony's making some gains on MS in their strongest market, MS are losing market share in the U.S and globally.
