PC game sales is lower than I expected. Hogwarts Legacy sold 1.7 million on console but only 220k on PC.

Interesting how some of this data doesn't line up with the numbers Dring gave in their Annual Report of the UK games industry 2 months ago. Not massively out on the whole just some difference that's odd given it uses the same source. GI'biz's report was very early in the year so maybe December's data wasn't final back then and it's been corrected since?
Also interesting to see how sales of the #1 console game are almost equivalent to the combined top 20 Steam sales. That puts some perspective on things, not-FIFA is a monster.
There's variance as to how well some platforms do throughout the regions; France for instance is a big Nintendo territory. The UK was once a European xbox stronghold but is now a declining presence. '23 hardware sales being 66% of '21's is horrendous and telling. If it's this bad in the UK, xbox presence in mainland European countries must be going from a shrug to non-existence.

This isn't new. Fallout 4 sold only 1.8 million on pc while ps4/xbone did 8 million. If Zelda got pirated 1 million times, please believe all games have been pirated the same.
